Agathe is a partner in charge of the Product and Service Liability, Professional and Industrial Risks department.
Her practice spans both advisory and litigation, particularly in matters relating to contractual and tort liability, the civil and criminal liability of companies and their executives, crisis management, and the implementation of prevention measures and delegation of powers.

With specific expertise in the area of occupational risks, Agathe Moreau handles cases involving workplace accidents and occupational diseases, gross negligence, and related criminal proceedings.

In terms of product risks, real estate and industrial risks, and environmental law, she assists companies and executives facing industrial accidents, site contamination, and product and service liability issues. Her cases require her to assist and represent clients throughout investigation procedures, judicial expert assessments, and all associated civil and criminal proceedings.

Experience

Agathe began her career at the firm Hascoët Jeantin Trillat, then at Rambaud Martel, where she developed litigation skills in business law, specializing in liability law. She joined Reinhart Marville Torre in 2001 and became a partner in 2005.

Recent matters

Assistance and representation of a French industrial company whose products had manufacturing non-conformities. Following a judicial expertise, a claim of more than €1.8 million led to a legal action and a defense based on product liability. Our arguments led the opposing parties, including the victim (a French industrial company) and co-defendants (foreign companies), to settle. Our client, who bore all the risks in France, concluded the matter by paying a minimal indemnity to the victim, in addition to having its own damages covered by the other co-defendants.
Defense of a corporate entity and its executive in an industrial products and services company, whose criminal and civil liability were being pursued following a fatal accident involving an aerial work platform. Acquittal in the criminal case and exclusion from liability in the civil proceedings and third-party recourse actions.
Defense of a former executive of a food industry group accused of several deaths and illnesses (TIAC) caused by the Listeria bacteria, suspected of contaminating the meat sold by the company.
Management of workplace accident cases (suicide, burnout, workplace accidents) for various insurers or insured companies. Judicial investigations, preliminary inquiries, assistance before criminal courts, and in related civil litigation, including claims of inexcusable fault and general law.
